The Travis County Voter Registrar's office is
dedicated to preserving the integrity, opportunity, and privacy of this
process. Voting is the guardian of freedom and we take our responsibility
seriously.
JANUARY/FEBRUARY 2012 - The mailing of voter registration certificates has been delayed due to redistricting litigation. We expect to begin mailing certificates on February 13 in time for the April 3 primary. Click here to read more about 2012 certificates and election dates.

Can't find your record in Travis County and think
you may be registered in another Texas county? Check the
state wide database provided by the Secretary of State.
You may verify if your voter registration is current in Travis
County on this web site. Once you have opened your registration
information, click on your sample voter certificate.
Your sample certificate provides:
- Your election precinct number. Click on the election precinct number
to locate your neighborhood polling place, location directions, and
a display map.
- Jurisdiction codes on the right side of the form. Select the jurisdiction
code to identify your district representative. We've provided representative
contact information such as, name, address, telephone number and email
address.
- A link to the secure Texas Secretary of State web site to change your
address or name online.

Welcome to Travis County, Texas!
You may register to vote by completing a voter registration
application form. The application is available in English and en Español. You may need to download the latest version of Adobe
Reader to access the form. Click on the image below to download Adobe

Upon completion of the voter registration application,
print, sign, and mail the application to:

If you are a registered voter in Travis County,
you may change your name and address online via the secure
Texas Secretary of State web site. The Secretary will forward your
changed information to our office the next business day. A voter
registration certificate will be mailed to you within 30 days.

Travis County offers convenient early voting
locations in grocery stores, shopping centers, government offices, and
the University of Texas campus. As a registered voter, you may vote at
any polling location. Early and Mobile Voting is conducted each day during the
12-day early voting period.

The standard sample ballot includes all federal, state
and local election information for Travis County voters. A sample ballot
for the upcoming election will be available before early voting begins.

You may retrieve information regarding your
elected district representative through the Voter Verification page. Once you have
opened your registration information, click on your sample voter
certificate. Your sample voter certificate displays jurisdiction codes
on the right side of the form. Select the jurisdiction code to
identify your district representative. We provide district

Thanks to the contributions of Volunteer Deputy Registrars,
the Travis County Voter Registration Division has successfully registered
97.84% of its eligible population. As of December 31, 2010, approximately
606,009 Travis County citizens are registered to vote. We have achieved
this success through the dedication and hard work of our Volunteer Deputy
Registrars.

We offer a map of the Travis County election voting
precincts for your convenience. The election precincts are assigned a
3-digit number, the 1st digit designates the County Commissioner district.
As an example, election precinct number 101 is in County Commissioner
district one.
The voting map is color-coded to visually display the
four Travis County Commissioner districts:
- Commissioner One - Peach
- Commissioner Two - Green
- Commissioner Three - Blue
- Commissioner Four - Yellow
