For your convenience Travis County has established satellite offices and neighborhood substations at HEB stores and at the City of Jonestown for vehicle registration renewal ONLY. To use substation service, you must provide a renewal form for the current month (or next month) issued for Travis County along with proof of insurance. Substations provide current registration renewal; if your renewal is not current, you may visit the main tax office, a satellite office. Find a listing of all office locations with maps and directions at or call 512 854 9473 for assistance. Substations collect a $1 processing fee.

For service at a satellite office, you must provide a license plate number or vehicle identification number (VIN) and proof of insurance. Satellite offices are located in Pflugerville at 15822 Foothill Farms Loop, in Oak Hill at 8656 Highway 71W, southeast Travis County near the airport at 4011 McKinney Falls Parkway and in east Austin at 4705 Heflin Lane near the intersection of Springdale and MLK. At satellite locations you may transfer vehicle title, make a tax payment or register to vote. The main tax office handles all other operations such as tax certificates, payment arrangements and bidder's statements for foreclosure sales.
